THE GREEN LINE
The Greeks and the Turksa blurry mess
the thin Green Line in Cypress
The British crown and the IRA
never see their islands the same way
The question of Oswald or CIA conspiracy
who the hell knows but Kennedy
LAPD and Rodney King
All of us who go on hating
We all loveWe all hate
We all bleed
And make mistakes
All I know is that I’ve had enoughof people killing
in the name of something they love
Ask Malcolm X or ML King
They were cut down, fighting
They encouraged us
To erasing the thin dividing lines
They inspired us to be color blind
